Wolf Creek Lodge


Cohousing Community in Grass Valley, CA

Located at a prominent corner on 8.8 acres with 3.3 acres dedicated to open space, the project provides 30 units for active adults (mostly 55+) and is close to neighborhood shopping, nature, and a short walk from Grass Valley’s historic downtown. The 3-4 story lodge-inspired building “holds the corner” while opening to the view and embracing the sun at the same time.

The building is extremely energy efficient, with passive cooling and passive heating, hydronic heating, green materials, maximum natural lighting and ventilation, and an extremely energy efficient building envelope.

Completed in 2012.
