Cohousing Community in Hood River, OR

Gorge Cohousing has plans to build cohousing in the Columbia River Gorge. They envision a neighborhood that’s safe, diverse, multigenerational, and family oriented, where people play, enjoy each other’s company, share meals, an art studio, music studio, woodworking shop, gardens and children’s play areas.  A place for people to be creative and share life together.

After a very successful October 2016 Getting-It-Built workshop, the group is building up their membership and doing outreach work to build local interest.

Their next event will be a Cohousing Potluck on Sunday, June 25th. Join the group for food and conversation. Soup, wine, tea, coffee provided. You bring the good stuff! To RSVP and receive location details, email friends@gorgecohousing.com.

They’ll also be holding informal cohousing conversations at Dog River Coffee (411 Oak St, Hood River, OR) every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 1pm.
